How is the weather data gathered? WeatherAloud currently uses WeatherUnderground.com, although other choices for data sources will be provided in future releases. Data is from National Weather Service offices within the US, and a variety of weather stations worldwide.
How can I see which cities are available? f you click View->Global Locations, it brings up a window that will let you choose any of over 7500 locations, and then just click Add->MyCities button once the desired location is selected. For US users, you can also choose to add your location by zip code, and it will find the closest reporting station, often closer than what is listed by global location.
